ABOUT THE PROJECT (FIRST EDITION)
Main assumptions
The project „INFOTECH – high standards of vocational education in #THE SILICON FOREST” with the number RPPD.03.03. .03.01-20-0212/18 is implemented by the Foundation for the Development of Local Democracy with its seat in Warsaw at ul. Żurawia 43, 00-680 Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as „Leader”) and the Partnership for Development Foundation with its seat in Czarna Białostocka at ul. Jerzego Bromboszcza 9, 16-020 Czarna Białostocka (hereinafter referred to as „Partner”) in the framework of the Regional Operational Program of the Podlaskie Voivodeship for 2014-2020, Priority Axis III Competencies and Qualifications, Activity 3.3 Vocational education of youth for the competitiveness of the Podlasie economy, Sub-activity 3.3.1 Vocational education of youth for the competitiveness of the Podlasie economy.
The project implementer on behalf of the Partner is: Info Tech Programming Technical School based in Białystok at 40 Ciepła Street, 15-472 Białystok.
The main objective of the project is to improve the professional competencies of 100 students (min. 20 K) and 15 teachers (min. 7 K) of the Programming Technikum Info Tech through participation in didactic and educational classes, developing key competencies, trainings raising qualifications and professional internships of 30 students and 2 teachers by the end of August 2021.

including European Union funding: PLN 1,124,699.95

Forms of support within the project:
1. professional internships for students and teachers,
2. additional activities for students, viz:
a. Additional classes in mathematics (support for the formation and development of mathematical key competencies in students),
b. Additional classes in English (support for the formation and development of key linguistic competencies in students),
c. Additional classes in computer science,
d. Programming circle,
e. Circle – Robotics,
f. Programming course
g. White and green school – away training,
h. Project management course- course and exam of PMP (AGILE) SCRUM- PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER CERTIFICATIONS,
i. English language training to equalize educational opportunities,
j. Training in mathematics to equalize educational opportunities,
k. Training in computer science equalizing educational opportunities,
3. activities in the project provided for teachers:
a. Postgraduate studies for teachers,
b. Training in conducting an educational experiment,
c. Training in the use of modern technologies in education.
In addition, IT and math labs will be retrofitted as part of the project implementation. A Council of Entrepreneurs will be established, bringing together technology companies and students.
Participation in the project is free of charge.
Project implementation period: 01.09.2019. – 31.08.2021 r.

Żurawia 43, 00-680 Warsaw (Project Leader) and the Partnership for Development Foundation (Project Partner) with its seat in Czarna Białostocka at ul. 3) Project activities planned for teachers:
1. trainings of Teachers’ Councils, planned topics:
(a) Use of ICT tools aimed at shaping and developing digital competencies of students, including cyber-safety and resulting risks.
b) Creative thinking as a skill that supports the learning and problem-solving process.
c) Activating students in classroom and extracurricular activities.
d) How to develop student potential using the teacher’s coaching competencies.
2 External training:
(a) Agile programming
In addition, thematic laboratories will be retrofitted as part of the project implementation.

As part of the project „INFOTECH – high standards of vocational education in #siliconforestII” with the number RPPD.03.03.01-20-0228/19″, the INFOTECH Programming Technical School in Bialystok received funding for, among other things, extracurricular activities, professional internships and the retrofitting and creation of new specialized labs. The purchase was co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund. This made it possible to retrofit ateliers with, among other things. w: Four-legged Educational + Lidar 3D walking platform, Multi-filament 3D Printer with consumables compatible with the printer model, Resin 3D Printer with consumables compatible with the printer model, Resin print cleaning and curing kit, IoT sensor kit, programmable flying kit, robotic arm with components, projectors, school desks, chairs, 24″ monitors, laptops, lab tables, school desks, advanced goggles, server, sports camera.
