ABOUT THE PROJECT

Main assumptions

The EOG funds represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to creating a green, competitive and inclusive Europe. The project „Future technologies in today’s school” benefits from a grant of EUR 217,161.00 received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA funds.

Project implementation period: 01.04.2022 – 30.11.2023

Project leader: Partnership for Development Foundation

Project Partners: Bialystok University of Technology and GeoCamp Iceland.

The project is innovative in nature, as indicated by the preparation of innovative and the only one in Poland teaching courses responding to the real needs of the high-tech industry labor market. The main objective of the project is to reduce economic and social disparities within the European Economic Area and to improve quality in education through the creation of pilot courses in vocational education, corresponding to the demand for specialists in the IT industry in the labor market.

 

Specific Objectives:

1. to expand the offer of vocational secondary and higher education and adapt the curriculum to the current needs of the IT (Industry 4.0) labor market.

2. expanding the offer of vocational continuing education

3. expansion of cooperation and transnational exchange of experience between Iceland and Poland in the areas of: remote education, gamification, building relationships between business and education.

4. increase the quality of remote education through the dissemination of tools and methods for effective remote learning. Target group: 10 K and 30 M – teaching/administrative staff/staff.
